HR Generalist - USA

Monrovia, CA

Parasoft searching for an HR Generalist to fulfill a multitude of duties related to Human Resources, Recruiting and Payroll. Reporting to the CEO & working directly with our Professional Employer Organization (PEO), you will manage all aspects of Employment for our US Employees.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4-6+ years’ combined experience in HR, recruitment, benefits/payroll
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work effectively between departments, resolving routine questions alone and complex questions w/assistance
  • Ability to effectively communicate with attention to detail and good follow-up
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Experience working with a PEO a plus

Duties will include but are not limited to the areas below:

  • Develops and designs HR policies and programs with the guidance of PEO and CEO
  • Management and implementation of programs that support employee productivity and drive company results
  • Maintains employee records of pay, benefits, accidents, and other activities according to company policies and regulatory requirements and in accordance with PEO guidelines
  • Resolution of disciplinary issues, performance improvement and terminations with guidance from PEO and CEO
  • Prepares all termination paperwork and departure packets for terminated employees in accordance with PEO guidelines
  • Responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation and coordination of payroll with PEO
  • Reviews timecards for inaccuracies compliance with company policies and submit calculated commissions
  • Reviews the computation of pay and ensures the company payroll policies are in accordance with the government regulations with guidance from PEO
  • Responds to and resolves any inquiries regarding paychecks
  • Directs recruitment, staffing, and employee training and development programs that support the achievement of company goals
  • Assesses external labor market conditions, develops the most effective, economical and appropriate recruiting channels and methods
  • Ensures all recruiting activities consistent with organization's policies and standards
  • Tracks all candidates and prepares yearly Affirmative action/EEO/Vets reporting for Govt compliance
  • Prepares & presents offer letter. Explains benefits package, policies and other employment information
  • Coordinating with hiring manager and IT to ensure all equipment and necessities are met for first day
  • Prepares all onboarding paperwork and welcome packet emails for new employees in accordance with Parasoft & PEO guidelines
