Territory Sales Manager- Embedded Safety Critical - USA

The Territory Sales Manager – Embedded/Safety Critical (TSM) shall be responsible for generating a high volume of transactions in both new and existing accounts.   Using a variety of tools such as outbound calling, email, and other lead generating methods, the candidate will prospect, qualify, position, coordinate demonstrations, and close software license and maintenance opportunities.  The TSM will be responsible for supporting marketing initiatives through the execution of telemarketing programs as well as tracking and maintaining leads and opportunity data in Parasoft’s CRM system.

This role is a quota carrying sales position with unlimited growth and earnings potential.  This position is not a beginner role, while some training will be provided, the expectation is that the candidate will have recent knowledge and experience for the role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Effectively maintain sales pipeline data and activity reports, providing management with accurate sales forecasts familiar with Sales processes and tools (SFDC, qualification techniques)
  • Represent Parasoft to the customer in all sales-related matters and understand the customer’s business, product requirements, and industry challenges
  • Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of Parasoft’s products, services, partners, and market
  • Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of Parasoft technologies and solutions
  • Identify and qualify prospects through proactive outbound calling, establishing a line of communication with key contacts while creating an interest in the Parasoft solution portfolio
  • Assist in the development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns
  • Regularly log all activities into CRM and report results
  • Interface with customer prospects.  Provide product information and appropriate follow-up
  • Monitor leads from multiple online sources

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proven track record with 3+ years of software sales experience acquiring and cultivating B2B enterprise accounts
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate complex technology and the value proposition of technical solutions to prospects and customers
  • Knowledge of Safety Critical industry, familiarity with ISO 26262, IEC 62304 and/or 61508 preferred
  • Technical knowledge (C/C++, Embedded)
  • Industry experience in the Automotive, Industrial Controls, or Medical vertical a plus
  • Highly motivated self-starter that is articulate, persistent, and outgoing with a professional demeanor
  • Provide track record of consistently achieving or exceeding quota
  • Efficient and goal-oriented with a focus on execution
  • A team player who can quickly establish effective working relationships with a wide range of staff including representatives from field sales, marketing, and engineering
