The new Virtualize MCP server extends Parasoft’s AI-driven API mocking and service virtualization capabilities to external LLM clients and AI agents, enabling autonomous generation, deployment, and management of REST API mocks beyond the Virtualize UI and bringing agentic workflows directly into build pipelines.

AI tools and LLM clients connect to the Parasoft Virtualize MCP server—eliminating dependency bottlenecks by bringing autonomous API mocking to agentic workflows.

Development teams increasingly rely on AI-enhanced IDEs and LLM-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, and Warp to accelerate code generation, including the rapid creation of new APIs. Yet testing and environment readiness have become critical bottlenecks to delivery speed. Parasoft Virtualize 2026.1, which includes the new Virtualize MCP server, addresses this challenge by extending AI-driven API mocking and service virtualization capabilities directly into the tools and workflows developers already use. The release also enables teams to configure autonomous, agentic workflows in which AI agents invoke Virtualize MCP server tools to dynamically create and manage API mocks within build pipelines.
